Daniel Marchwinski began studying in 2004. In 2006 he became a disciple of Sifu Steve. After Sifu Britt’s passing, Daniel continued training with his fellow disciples and Sifu Michael Ashmore. In 2014 Daniel began receiving instruction periodically from his Sigung Eddie Wu.

Daniel has taught seniors classes at St John’s Providence, Conner Creek Hospital, and the Berkley Community Center, as well as classes for students at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan. He played an integral role in helping to establish the new Wu’s Tai Chi Academy Detroit; developing the schedule, membership structure, and other key elements of its day to day operation. It is here where he currently trains and teaches Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced level classes.

Daniel is also the Detroit Academy’s de facto graphic and web designer..
