Eike Sindlinger
I first came across Wu style Tai Chi Chuan in 1994, when I joined a group taught by Mr. Thoi Tin Cau, practising Tai Chi every morning in my local park. Having learned Wushu Style Tai Chi before, I was impressed by the simple, efficient directness of Wustyle and the strong correlation between the martial and health aspect. Thus I decided to stay with this style.
When I came to London, I was delighted to find a Wu Style Academy. I made it my New Year resolution for 2000 to join and devote whatever time I could to practice, teach and promote Wu style. Since 2001 I have been teaching Beginners and am based at Wu's Tai Chi Chuan Academy, Archway in London.
I am very grateful to all the people that have taught me along the way and with whom I had the joy of practising together over the years. My particular thanks goes to Master Wu Kwong Yu for sharing his skill and knowledge.
