David Muller
David was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. He now lives in London, working as a programmer and practising Tai Chi as often as he is able to.
His first experience of Tai Chi was three years of Yang Style while studying at university. Missing his previous training he went in search of a club in London that could deliver the wellbeing he associated with Tai Chi and was fortunate to find Wu’s Tai Chi Chuan Academy run by Sifu Gary Wragg in 2003.
All aspects of Tai Chi practice are important to David, but his favourites are the 2 person sets, Pushing Hands and the Tai Chi Sword.
He has taken part in many Tai Chi competitions around the world, and after several years' persistence has a modest collection of medals, but a lot of experience gained. He is involved with organising the annual London Competition for Traditional Tai Chi Chuan, which marked its sixth successful year in 2013.
David is part of the team of instructors at Wu’s Academy, Bethnal Green.
