Deirdre Moore is a Financial Aid Administrator at Wayne State University in Detroit. She began studying Wu style Tai Chi Chuan under Sifu Genie Parker in September of 2004. Deirdre was drawn to Tai Chi as a gentle exercise program to help manage chronic lower back pain and increase flexibility. Adopting Tai Chi practice has provided the additional benefits of stress reduction and a healthier work-life balance. Deirdre is currently a teaching assistant to Sifu Genie at the Dearborn training locations. 

Deirdre became a disciple of Sifu Genie Parker in September of 2011 during a ceremony at the Ann Arbor Academy presided over by Grandmaster Eddie Wu Kwong Yu.
